Project outcome: Apex Solar will install a 16.91kW solar array on the south side of the Whallonsburg Grange Hall, on the standing seam roof aspect of the building. This installation will include 38 x 445 Watt Panels and two SolarEdge HD Wave Inverters.

Cost: $43,966.50

Funding Sources: NYSERDA grant funding ($5,918), $5,000 from Climate Smart Communities and ROOST Community Enhancement Funds
We have also received word that the Town of Essex may be eligible for up to 30% of direct payment funds from the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which would amount to a reduction of costs by ~$11,700.00. We are waiting to receive official word from the Federal government on whether we can take part in this reimbursement.
