• February 13, 2026 - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING for the approval of a Cable Television Agreement between Spectrum Northeast, LLC and the Town of Essex.

  PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Essex will hold a Public Hearing on March 12, 2026 at 6:15PM at Essex Town Hall, 2313 Main Street, Essex, New York 12936 regarding renewal of the cable television franchise agreement by and between the Town of Essex and Spectrum Northeast, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of Charter Communications.

  A copy of the document is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Town Clerk’s office, 2313 Main Street, Essex, New York 12936, or electronically. At such public hearing, all persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. Written and oral statements will be taken at that time.

  DRAFT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE

  PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Essex Comprehensive Plan Committee will hold a Public Hearing to receive public comments on the Town of Essex Draft Comprehensive Plan Update.

  The Public Hearing will be held on:
  Date: February 23, 2026
  Time: 6:00 PM
  Location: Whallonsburg Grange Hall

  The hearing will begin with a brief presentation of the Draft Comprehensive Plan, followed by an opportunity for public comment.

  The Draft Comprehensive Plan Update is available for public review on the Town’s website.

  All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comments.

  The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is accessible. If you require special accommodations to attend this meeting, please contact the Town Clerk in advance.
