Town Hall Exterior Bathroom Renovation
Project outcome: The Town learned just prior to the April 2024 Eclipse that the pipes in the exterior bathroom burst over the winter because the drains were not opened last fall. The Town Council had previously discussed turning this bathroom into a year-round bathroom, but tabled that discussion due to lack of interest in taking on such a project. With the burst pipes ruining the inside of the bathroom, it was determined by the Town Council to completely renovate the bathroom, improve the insulation for year-round service, add a heat source and re-plumb the bathroom to run water lines on the inside of the interior walls instead of inside the walls.
Cost: Contractor - $6,785.00, Plumber - $3,360.00
