Dateline: July 28, 2025 - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - TOWN OF ESSEX ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Essex on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Town Hall, 2313 Main Street, Essex, NY, to consider the following matter:
An application from Lee Sloper on behalf of Charles List for the granting of an area variance at 122 Sanders Road in the Town of Essex. The application involves a proposed garage accessory to an existing single family dwelling. The proposed action does not comply with the minimum front yard setback requirements of the Zoning Law.
Any person may either submit written comments to the Zoning Board of Appeals at least one day before the hearing or may appear and be heard before the Board at the time of the hearing. Remote access to the hearing is available at https://www.essexnewyork.com/remote. The application and other information may be reviewed online at https://www.essexnewyork.com/zba, or at the Town Hall Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-3:30 PM.

Dateline: August 30, 2021 - Insufficient Funds Check Fee - Effective 8/26/2021 by order of Resolution #123-2021, the Town of Essex will charge $35.00 for all dishonored or stopped payment checks given to the Town of Essex for services.
